With 10 seconds left, senior guard Rmanii Haynes hit a 10-footer to give Woodland Hills Taft a 42-41 victory over Woodland Hills El Camino Real tonight at Taft.

El Camino Real trailed by eight points at halftime, then battled back to take a one-point lead with less than a minute remaining in the game.

Junior guard Breanna Burton had 13 points and Haynes scored 12 for Taft. Sophomore forward Shannon Kingery led El Camino Real with 10 points.

Last year all three games between the two teams were decided by five points or less, and it looks as if this year isn’t going to be any different. El Camino Real (15-6, 4-1) and Taft (11-6, 4-1) are now tied for first place in the West Valley League.
