Richard Solomon, the 6-foot-9 center for L.A. Price, connected on consecutive three-point shots to help the Knights take a 9-3 lead over La Verne Lutheran in a nonleague game at Price.
California Coach Mike Montgomery is in the bleachers watching Solomon, who signed with the Golden Bears.
