UCLA-bound Tyler Lamb has scored 12 of his team’s 17 points to help Santa Ana Mater Dei take a 17-12 lead over Bishop Gorman with 2:04 left in the first quarter of the Nike Extravaganza game.
Shabazz Muhammad, a 6-foot-5 sophomore, scored eight of Bishop Gorman’s first 10 points. Also playing for the Gaels is USC-bound tight end Xavier Grimble.
