Boys’ basketball: Windward clinches league title

Los Angeles Windward (18-7, 9-0) clinched the Olympic League championship with a 61-56 victory over North Hollywood Campbell Hall.

Ranked No. 1 in Southern Section Division VAA, the Wildcats received 19 points from Wesley Saunders and got major contributions from freshmen Jordan Wilson, who had 11 points, and Chauncey Hill, who had four baskets in the third quarter. Sophomore Nick Stover also was effective, scoring 11 points.

Austin McBroom scored 21 points for Campbell Hall (18-7, 6-3).
