Girls’ basketball: 5 California girls among WBCA All-America participants

Five California girls were selected to participate in the 19th annual Women’s Basketball Coaches Assn. All-America game presented by Nike.

Cassie Harberts (San Clemente), Chelsea Gray (Stockton St. Mary’s), Sara James (El Dorado Hills Oak Ridge), Afure Jemerigbe (Stockton St. Mary’s) and Lindsay Sherbert (Temecula Great Oak) were among the 20 girls who were chosen to play in the game, which will be on April 3 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
