Boys’ basketball: City Section Division I pairings

Westchester has been seeded No. 1 for the City Section Division I playoffs. The semifinals will be played Feb. 26 at USC’s Galen Center. The final will be played March 6 at 8 p.m. at Galen Center.

The pairings:

No. 16 Lincoln (7-10) at No. 1 Westchester (23-3)

No. 8 Fremont (18-7) at No. 9 L.A. Jordan (18-9)

No. 12 Carson (8-16) at No. 5 Fairfax (16-10)

No. 13 Garfield (15-5) at No. 4 Washington (20-6)

No. 14 South Gate (9-17) at No. 3 Crenshaw (19-3)

No. 11 Birmingham (14-11) at No. 6 Palisades (19-8)

No. 10 Dorsey (14-11) at No. 7 Cleveland (13-12)

No. 15 Sylmar (3-22) at No. 2 Taft (21-4)

Note: Jordan gets to host Fremont because it was a league champion.
