Girls’ basketball: Beverly Hills’ Miranda Abdul-Mansour scores a career-high 42 points

Beverly Hills’ senior Miranda Abdul-Mansour had a career-high 43 points and 13 rebounds on Saturday to lift the Normans to a 74-49 win over Mayfair in a Southern Section Division 2A second round playoff game.

Beverly Hills led 34-33 at halftime then outscored Mayfair 23-5 in the third quarter and held on.

Senior Chidiogo Ofoegbu led Mayfair with 31 points.

Beverly Hills (19-11) will face Laguna Hills (25-3) on Wednesday in a quarterfinal matchup.
