Boys’ basketball: Etiwanda 56, Corona Centennial 56

After three quarters, Etiwanda and Corona Centennial are tied, 56-56.

Etiwanda led by as many as eight points in the third quarter. Juniors Evan Jenkins and Tyler LaCour provided the Eagles a boost. Jenkins had six points.

Etiwanda’s man-to-man defense has bothered the Huskies. Dominic Dunning is the one player trying to give Centennial a lift with intense play. His three-point play at the buzzer tied the game.

But the Huskies just can’t score when they don’t have a fast break.
