No. 2-seeded Woodland Hills Taft holds a 38-23 halftime lead over Crenshaw in the City Section Division I semifinals.
Crenshaw closed to within 20-16 with just over six minutes left. Then Taft went on a 15-0 run to take a 35-16 lead. It featured a pair of three-pointers from Pierson Williams, several blocked shots by DeAndre Daniels and acrobatic shots by Bryce Jones.
Williams has scored 15 points.
