No. 1-ranked Huntington Beach Edison turned to its stars in its opening game against Aliso Niguel. Junior left-hander Henry Owens struck out 14 and Valencia transfer Christian Lopes hit a home run and had six runs batted in to lead the Chargers to a 10-2 victory.
