Boys’ basketball: Price holds on for 73-70 victory

Price forward Skylar Spencer got his fingertips on Tyler Funk’s last-second three-pointer, which hit the front of the rim and bounced away and Price held off a final rally by Orange Lutheran to win 73-70 in the Division 4AA championship game.

Allen Crabbe had 22 points and 6 rebounds and Richard Solomon added 15 points for the top-seeded Knights (29-3), who made the necessary defensive stops in the final minute to stave off Lutheran’s upset bid.

Gabe York finished with 21 points for the second-seeded Lancers (23-8).
