It was a long, competitive doubleheader Monday night at Cal State Fullerton, and San Juan Capistrano JSerra swept the two games from No. 1 Huntington Beach Edison, winning, 7-4, in 12 innings and 5-4.

No. 4 JSerra is 6-1 and has won six consecutive games. Of course, both schools start league play later this week, which is slightly more important than what happened on Monday.

But it shows these are two of the best teams in Southern California, and JSerra should be the Trinity League favorite.
