Nicholas Stover, a sophomore guard who’s the younger brother of UCLA freshman center Anthony Stover, contributed seven points in the second quarter to help L.A. Windward take a 21-19 halftime lead over La Verne Lutheran in the Division V regional final at Colony.

Lutheran is relying on more balanced scoring than the Wildcats, who have turned to Stover and Wesley Saunders (nine points).

Grant Jerrett has seven points for Lutheran.
