There are four teams left in the championship bracket of the 24-team Dennis Gilbert Easter Classic that has been using wood bats. Playing in Friday’s semifinals at the Urban Youth Academy in Compton will be Monroe taking on Venice at 11 a.m. and Fairfax facing Marshall at 2 p.m.
The championship game is Saturday at 10 a.m.
