Baseball: Chaminade shuts out Long Beach Poly

West Hills Chaminade (11-3) continued its strong play with an 8-0 victory over Long Beach Poly on Monday in the Anaheim Lions tournament.

Mathew Troupe struck out six in six innings. Jason D’Andrea had three hits, including two doubles. Tanner Reibenspies and Brandon Rapoport had triples.

Newhall Hart was beaten by Torrance, 4-3, in the OC Nissan tournament. Torrance is 10-3.
