Baseball: Crespi pulls out 4-3 win in National Classic

Encino Crespi scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning Tuesday night to pull out a 4-3 victory over Anaheim Esperanza at Cal State Fullerton and advance into the semifinals of the Diamond Sports National Classic.

Trailing, 3-2, the Celts’ Michael Hubbard got aboard on an error in the seventh and was driven home on a triple by Ryon Healy. Kevin Williams drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly.

John Kearns and Josh Mason were the pitchers for Crespi (13-3), which will play Orange Lutheran in a 1 p.m. semifinal game on Wednesday at El Dorado.
