Softball: El Camino Real wins Spring Jamboree

El Camino Real defeated Las Vegas Palo Verde, 15-4, on Saturday to win the three-day Spring Jamboree tournament in Las Vegas.

In the semifinal and championship game, junior Dani Gilmore went six for eight with two home runs and nine RBIs, and sophomore Whitney West went seven for eight with seven runs scored.

The wins improved sophomore pitcher Karyn Wright’s record to 12-4, and the Conquistadors’ record to 13-5.
