Adam Velez of El Dorado has tied the game at 1-1 against Encino Crespi with a clutch two-out RBI single in the top of the sixth inning of the National Classic at Cal State Fullerton.
El Dorado had the tying run on third with one out in the sixth after a hit batter, sacrifice and stolen base. Ryan Brockett struck out Brennan Fulkerson with a curveball on a 2-and-2 count. But Velez stroked a single to left to drive in the tying run.
