With one month to go before the June amateur baseball draft, Christian Yelich from Westlake Village Westlake is making a big push to become a first-round draft pick.
He has raised his batting average to .469 with eight home runs. He’s 6-foot-4, weighs 190 pounds, can play just about any infield position and might be an outfielder at the next level.
His versatility and ability to hit make him an intriguing prospect.
