Los Angeles University just got a lot better in football with the arrival of quarterback Michael Yearwood, a transfer from San Bernardino Arroyo Valley who used to attend University.

Yearwood passed for 2,306 yards last season as a junior at Arroyo Valley while rushing for 1,127 yards and 16 touchdowns. His transfer was first reported by the Riverside Press Enterprise.

Second-year University Coach Dennis Tolbert already lost a quarterback who transferred to Westchester. I’d say Yearwood is better.
