Baseball: Rocky Sherwood resigns at Fairfax

Rocky Sherwood has resigned after three years as baseball coach at Los Angeles Fairfax. He took the Lions into the City Section Division II semifinals this past season and rebuilt a program that rarely won games before his arrival.

He’s also an LAPD detective and plans to spend time watching his sons play at Santa Clarita Golden Valley.
