Riverside Woodcrest Christian has put the finishing touch on a Southern Section Division 5 championship. The top-seeded Royals collected 14 hits in defeating Temecula Linfield Christian, 14-0, at the Riverside Sports Complex.
Michael Davis hit a two-run home run and finished with three hits. Matt Chabot struck 10 and allowed three hits in a complete-game performance. Woodcrest Christian (27-1) won 27 consecutive games after losing its opener to Rancho Cucamonga.
