Los Angeles Loyola held its Blue-White scrimmage on Thursday, and first-year Coach Mike Christensen said he was pleased with what he saw.

‘It was good,’ he said. ‘I liked the guys up front. I liked the way the kids competed.’

Christensen singled out quarterback Jerry Neuheisel and running back Jared Baker.

Loyola will get to see where it stands against some of the best teams in the Southland on June 12 when it competes in the Dana Hills AirStrike passing tournament.
