Mater Dei is now playing to ensure it doesn’t end up in the history books.

The Monarchs cut Corona Centennial’s lead to 44-13 after Sedric Hill caught a 45-yard touchdown pass with 1:40 remaining in the game. But Mater Dei couldn’t connect on the extra point attempt.
