Football: Mater Dei’s Victor Blackwell will play against Corona Centennial

After suffering a shoulder injury two weeks ago, Santa Ana Mater Dei senior wide receive Victor Blackwell reported no pain and says he will be playing tonight against Corona Centennial.

‘He’s going to give it a go,’ Mater Dei Coach Bruce Rollinson said. Asked to assess Blackwell’s level of pain, Rollinson said he recovered at about 90 percent. He also added, ‘We’ll find out in about 20 minutes. It won’t hurt if he scores.’
