It was all Palos Verdes from the opening kickoff this afternoon, as the Sea Kings built a 35-3 lead en route to an impressive 49-16 victory--their second straight win over South Bay rival San Pedro.

Palos Verdes has outscored its first three opponents 134-30, begging the question: Just how good are the Sea Kings? They were scary good on this day--in all phases of the game. Junior quarterback Zack Fixen sat out the fourth quarter after throwing three touchdown passes to Robby Kolanz and rushing for two scores. Senior running back Marc Sasso rushed for over 100 yards and one score.

San Pedro quarterback Kenny Potter threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to tight end Keaton Accetta for the only points of the fourth quarter... but by then the outcome was long decided. Standouts for the Pirates were running back Antwan Toutar, who gained over 100 yards, and receiver Dominic Camacho, who caught eight passes for 89 yards.
