Girls’ soccer: Hethcock resigns at Oaks Christian

Jan Hethcock, who guided Westlake Village Oaks Christian to five Southern Section girls’ soccer titles in 10 years as coach, has resigned to devote full-time attention to his job as athletic director.
Boys’ coach Sebastian Alvarado will take over the girls’ program, with girls’ assistant Greg Dmitrowich taking over as boys’ soccer coach.
Hethcock has been coaching soccer for 35 years.
