Football: City schools allowed to practice on Tuesday

Despite Tuesday being a staff development day in the City Section when after-school practice is normally banned, the Los Angeles Unified School District will allow football coaches to hold practices after the staff development day is finished, according to the City athletics office.

The decision was made after Monday’s practices were eliminated because of excessive heat.
