Football: Mater Dei cashes in on Edison fumble

Joshua Cook caught an 11-yard touchdown from Max Wittek to give Mater Dei a 14-0 lead over host Edison with 7:45 left in the first quarter at Orange Coast College.

Richard Ortiz set up the score by recovering a fumble by Edison quarterback Chase Favreau at the Chargers’ 25-yard line.
