Huntington Beach Edison junior infielder Tim Lopes is batting .357 and helped the U.S. 16U national team defeat Brazil, 18-1, at the Pan Am Youth Championships in Mexico.

Also on the team is pitcher Felipe Perez from Anaheim Fairmont Prep.
