Boys’ basketball: San Fernando Valley tourney has top teams

Pairings are out for the 32-team San Fernando Valley Invitational Basketball Tournament scheduled for Dec. 17-22 at Mission Hills Alemany, Encino Crespi, Granada Hills and Granada Hills Kennedy.

The top-seeded teams are Orange Lutheran, Crespi, Woodland Hills El Camino Real and Alemany.

Fifteen of the teams that entered reached at least the quarterfinals of the playoffs last season.
