Football: Chaminade and Serra tied, 7-7

West Hills Chaminade took a 7-0 lead over Gardena Serra with 3:49 in the first quarter after quarterback Logan Scott scored on an 11-yard touchdown run on third-and-four. The score completed a long drive in which Eagles running back Terrell Newby carried the ball 11 times for 39 yards.

But Serra running back Shaquille Richard answered two plays later when he scored on a 66-yard touchdown run down the left sideline to tie the game with 2:59 left in the first quarter.
