On the opening kickoff of the Big VIII League title decider, Corona Centennial’s Larry Scott got hit hard, lost the ball on a fumble and Elijah Mitchell picked it up on the three-yard line and scored a touchdown to give Corona Roosevelt a 7-0 lead.
