Santa Ana Mater Dei has taken a 7-3 lead over Long Beach Poly with 40 seconds left in the first quarter after a two-yard touchdown run by Corbin Anderson.

Tyler Meglan made his second interception of the game for the Monarchs and returned the ball 55 yards to the Poly 18.
