Scheduled to be on the sideline for the Lions are graduates Casey Matthews (Oregon), Marc Tyler (USC) and Marshall Jones (USC).

And in the stands, Wayne Gretzky and Will Smith should be hanging out.

And I call former NFL linebacker Clay Matthews, an Oaks Christian coach, a celebrity. He’s the father of Casey and Clay Matthews Jr. (Green Bay Packers).

The elder Matthews was tossing a football around before the game and when asked if he ever wanted to play quarterback, Matthews said, ‘I never want to be in a position where the people hit you.’
