Josh Miguel scored on a six-yard run and Escalon has jumped out to a 9-0 lead over San Diego Madison with 8:51 left in the second quarter in the Division III state bowl at Home Depot Center.

Miguel appeared to lose possession of the ball as he dove for the goal line but referees ruled it a touchdown.
