Football: Carson to play tough schedule in 2011

Carson football Coach Elijah Asante has put together a nonleague schedule for 2011 that is so tough he joked, ‘I am out of my mind.’

Asante said the Colts will open the season against Santa Ana Mater Dei, followed by games against Long Beach Poly, Mission Viejo, Santa Margarita and San Diego Lincoln, not to mention Marine League games against Narbonne and San Pedro.
