Boys’ basketball: Loyola opens 54-39 lead

Los Angeles Loyola is growing up before my eyes. I watched the Cubs rally to end Etiwanda’s 21-game win streak last week, and right now the Cubs have a 54-39 lead over Harvard-Westlake after three quarters. Harvard-Westlake came in with an 18-game win streak.

Julian Harrell had a huge third quarter, scoring 14 of his 18 points.
