Former Reseda Cleveland pitcher Chris Reed is a junior at Stanford and could be ready to become an impact player for the Cardinal.

He was named by Baseball America as the No. 1 prospect this summer out of the Atlantic Collegiate League.

Reed had a 15.43 ERA as a freshman and 6.10 ERA as a sophomore but has been impressive in fall ball.
