Boys’ basketball: L.A. Windward reaches final

Los Angeles Windward is going to the Southern Section Division 4AA championship game after a 79-67 semifinal victory over Mission Hills Alemany.
Nic Stover had 26 points and 19 rebounds and Wesley Saunders added 19 points and 10 rebounds. Windward will play Orange Lutheran in the final.
In 1A, Los Angeles Loyola cruised to a 90-60 semifinal win over Redlands East Valley. Joe Stein scored 21 points and Julian Harrell 18.
In 3A, North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake held off Damien, 59-56. Jordan Butler and Damiene Cain scored 17 points apiece. Harvard-Westlake will face Inglewood in the final. Inglewood defeated Encino Crespi, 42-40. Randy Onwuasor scored on a layup as time expired.
