Boys’ basketball: Nwaba, Williams are co-MVPs

David Nwaba of Los Angeles University and Trevone Williams of Westchester have been named the co-most valuable players from the Western League. Donovan Johnson from Palisades was selected most outstanding player.

First-team all-league picks include Joshua Wilson, Robert Gsellman, Domonique Evans and Keywhon Powns from Westchester, Adam Griffin and Everett Osborne from Palisades, Landon Drew and Laik Carter from Fairfax, Chad Tanioka from Venice, Damon Harvin from Hamilton and Jonathan Holmes from LACES.
