Boys’ basketball: Windward advances to Westchester final

Los Angeles Windward received 28 points and 12 rebounds from Nicholas Stover to defeat Gardena Serra, 65-60, in overtime in a semifinal game of the Westchester tournament.

Freshman Roy Hemsley added eight points and 15 rebounds. Windward will play Washington in Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. final. Washington defeated Taft, 96-87, behind A.J. Sims, who had 34 points.
