There has to be some good teenage anglers in California. So get ready for the 2011 High School Fishing World Finals set for July 20-23 on Lake Dardanelle in Russellville, Ark.

iHigh.com will provide free live streaming video from the competition.

Last year’s first event drew competitors from 17 states. Thousands of dollars in scholarships are available.

I’m sure any football coach will let a player out of practice for a couple of days to go fishing and represent California.
