Corona Centennial has been known for it’s no-huddle, high-powered spread offense, but the Huskies’ defense deserves a little respect.

Arizona State’s three starting linebackers this fall could be Centennial graduates. Vontaze Burfict, Shelly Lyons and Brandon Magee are listed as starters in the preseason.

How many high school teams can claim having three graduates as starting linebackers at one college program?

Coach Matt Logan is going to have to give the Centennial defense a little love. Well, he does, but the sportswriters don’t.
