Football: Oaks Christian gets more TV action

Westlake Village Oaks Christian is scheduled to appear on Prime Ticket’s game of the week at least twice this fall, with games scheduled for Sept. 3 against Washington Bellevue and Oct. 6 against Westlake Village Westlake.

According to athletic directors and other sources, Prime Ticket has made its selection of games to be televised but they still must be approved by the host schools.

The tentative schedule: Sept. 2, Bakersfield Centennial at Mission Viejo; Sept. 3, Oaks Christian vs. Bellevue at Mission Viejo; Sept. 8, Crenshaw at Norco; Sept. 16, Servite vs. La Habra at Cerritos College; Sept. 23, Alemany at Chaminade; Sept. 29, Santa Margarita vs. Los Alamitos at Veterans Stadium; Oct. 6, Oaks Christian at Westlake; Oct. 14, Vista Murrieta at Chaparral.

Possible additional games include Norco-Corona Centennial, Hart-Valencia, Servite-Mater Dei and Westlake-St. Bonaventure.

The Southern Section is expected to release the complete schedule next week. FoxSportsWest.com will also webcast several games a week.
