Football: Edison receiver to appeal denial of eligibility

Sedric Hill, a wide receiver who transferred to Huntington Beach Edison from Santa Ana Mater Dei last spring, has been denied eligibility by the Southern Section and will have an appeal hearing later this month, according to OCVarsity.com.

And anyone who thought the new commissioner, Rob Wigod, would be easier in deciding whether an athlete transferred for athletic reasons than the former commissioner, Jim Staunton, the Hill decision says otherwise.
