Football: Oaks Christian falls behind, 24-13

Oaks Christian is not playing with the enthusiasm and purpose it showed in the first half and has fallen behind Bellevue, 24-13, in the third quarter.

Joey Moore scored on a 15-yard touchdown run and Ari Morales added a 24-yard touchdown run. The Lions are getting worn down by Bellevue’s rushing attack.

Update: A Carlos Mendoza two-yard touchdown run and a two-point conversion pass to Christopher Davis has pulled Oaks Christian to within 24-21 early in the fourth quarter.

John Nguyen scored for Bellevue on a 12-yard run for a 31-21 lead with 2:34 left.
