Football: Oaks Christian falls to Bellevue

Bellevue came away with a 31-21 victory over Oaks Christian at Mission Viejo. The Lions had trouble stopping Bellevue’s rushing attack and didn’t generate very much offense in the second half after leading at halftime, 13-10.

Luke Falk, who cmpleted 22 of 42 passes for 235 yards and one touchdown, was intercepted three times, including twice by Tyler Hasty. Carlos Mendoza led Oaks Christian with 107 yards in 18 carries while Jordan Payton caught 19 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.
