Baseball: Giolito, Fried won’t be playing for USA 18U team

Two of the top high school pitchers in the country, Lucas Giolito and Max Fried from Studio City Harvard-Westlake, won’t be playing for the USA 18U team in Colombia after the dates for Pan American 18U championships were changed from September to November 18-27.

Coach Matt LaCour said school and pitching preparation considerations would prevent them from joining the team.
