Football: LaVon Coleman leads unbeaten Lompoc to eighth win

Unbeaten Lompoc (8-0) rolled to a 28-0 victory over Templeton on Thursday night behind junior running back LaVon Coleman, who rushed for 212 yards in 27 carries. Coleman has gained 1,017 yards on the season.

Lompoc had 379 yards rushing. The Braves’ defense was led by junior linebacker Willie Irabarren, who had an interception.
